MEMORABLE MOMENTS: FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY FOR CHRISTMAS 2021

Woo-hoo it’s that time of the year again where we wrap up warm, get cosy, and start preparing for the magical festive season. November and December are even more special and precious this year, as we definitely didn’t have much of the festive build up that we deserved in 2020.

​

Christmas 2021 is really precious as it gives us all hope that better times are coming, and light can undoubtedly start to be seen at the end of the tunnel. Everyone seems really excited, there’s magic in the air, and we are all getting ready for an unforgettable and well-deserved Christmas this year, where we get to see, hug, and celebrate with family and friends (fingers and toes crossed)!!

Sending Christmas cards is a tradition that dates back to early 19th-century England. Thanks to social media, our busy schedules and a plethora of other excuses, it’s one we’ve unfortunately fallen away from; however, I’ve had such a demand for Christmas photos this year and all the families that book keep asking is “Will the photographs be ready by December as we’d love to send them out on our Christmas cards?!”. I’m hoping 2021 is the year to bring back the importance of spreading some Christmas cheer & love, the good old-fashioned way. After nearly two years when we’ve lost so much physical contact with loved ones and fellow humans and everything has become so digitalised, a hard copy Christmas card/Christmas photographs will surely be well received and truly cherished!

​As a family photographer, ultimately, the most important thing during a photoshoot/portrait session is that I'm able to tell your family story and that all family members are relaxed and having a great time at their family photography session/family photoshoot. This will enable me to capture natural portrait photography/lifestyle family photography at your photo shoot, which in turn will create fine art images, that capture such a precious time, creating the perfect gift and family photographs that will last a lifetime.

I then send a high quality online gallery of your family photos, from your lovely family shoot, for you to pick your favourites from!

My “Christmas Mini’s” offer the chance to have a professional Christmas themed photoshoot, for 30 minutes (nice and short for all ages), with 3 digital images included (and the opportunity to buy more)! This has really worked for me in previous years as it’s totally affordable and families really can spend as little, or as much, as they’d like.

​

It’s honestly so special when families choose me to capture those special memories for their Christmas cards/Christmas gifts and whilst this may sound SUPER cheesy, family and love truly are the reason for the season.
