For some couples their idea of the "perfect wedding day" is a grand affair, with lots of suppliers, guests and glam! Whilst large wedding dates make for some incredible photos and magical memories - they can also come with a rather hefty price tag!

I wanted to write a blog post to reassure any couples who may be considering smaller wedding numbers, that small and intimate weddings can be different but JUST as beautiful!

    Why opt for a smaller wedding?​

 

• Just the two of you - A lovely thing about smaller weddings is the focus moves to the most important thing about the celebratory day itself: two people choosing to form a life-long, binding union.

​

• Venue options - Many intimate weddings can take place mid-week, which can open up a large variety of venues that you may have written off due to their lack of weekend availability or even considered out of your budget! Some might even offer a great deal, so it's definitely worth checking/asking!

​​

• Continuing to make memories - It is so important to make those special memories and to record them.

​

• It's the simple things - Call me cheesy, but what better way to celebrate true love intimately and to lap up all the excitement and joy that a wedding can create!?
