A SUMMERY ELEGANT WEDDING AT A COTSWOLDS CASTLE
This beautiful day back in September was utterly amazing. I had the pleasure of working with The Floral P.A. again too!
The concept of love is something universal. The people we choose to love and create memories with, do not understand borders, forms and social conventions. Love is love. We wanted to underline how the choices and manifestations of love can be elegant, beautiful and memorable. The styling for this day took inspiration from Tuscan Landscapes which myself and The Floral P.A. felt went perfectly with this Venue. The whole set up and art direction, has an Italian/holiday feeling with a Summery aesthetic.
“Euridge House sits on the edge of the village of Castle Combe, on the borders of Somerset and Wiltshire, in the heart of the Cotswolds – and on the grounds of famous explorer Sir Walter Raleigh’s old hunting lodge. The building as it is now was designed by master garden designers and builders Isabel and Julian Bannerman as part of a monastery-inspired transformation of the Wiltshire farmhouse at the heart of the estate. The project was lovingly curated by John Robinson, who has owned and lived in the property for four decades. Every step, scent, and stone were hand-picked from different corners of the world to create a space that tells a captivating story in every season of the year.” Euridge Manor.
This day had everything from the cake & table set-up, a stunning floral display & stationery flat lay, giggly drinks with the most gorgeous couple, the sweetest dog, and even a Bentley and Prosseco Tuktuk!
“Today’s inspiration is right out of a fairy-tale, set at a real-life castle in the U.K.’s Cotswolds, with lush greenery and elegant details that is sure to make any soonlywed swoon. The grooms look gorgeous together in light blue and beige suits, and toast at cocktail hour with a mobile Prosecco bar (um, where can I get one of those?!). A refined tables cape of a greenery table runner, gold-and-china place settings, and a pair of pop-of-blue vases give it an almost Tuscan vibe, finished off with a metallic wedding cake.” Love Inc.
As a collection of suppliers, we all feel incredibly strongly and passionate about promoting the LGBTQ+ community, especially within the Wedding Industry and are so pleased to be sharing this day. If I can offer any couples who may be looking at this for inspiration, please be as honest with your vendors as you can be. Tell them what you want, you deserve it. And if you get a Wedding Coordinator, make sure they get you and you'll feel 100 percent comfortable.
We all feel so lucky to have had this day published here and could not have done it without this lovely lot…
