GOODBYE 2018, HELLO 2019
I can’t quite believe we’ve come to the end of this year. On reflection 2018 has been an exciting, BUSY, and absolutely wonderful year. I survived and better yet LOVED my first ever official “Wedding Season”, shooting my weddings as a solo photographer. I was lucky enough to exhibit my work at some amazing shows, I took part in new venue openings, I was able to photograph and celebrate many birthdays, gigs & a wedding anniversary or two, I welcomed lots of gorgeous families into my mini sessions, I met and got to work with some exceptional suppliers, my work was featured in various publications AND, in short, I was so lucky to be present for & able to capture so many beautiful memories, moments and life events for my utterly epic clients.
Running my own business has been a dream of mine for years and I can’t quite believe that I’m now actually living it. I am so grateful for the unwavering support, trust, encouragement and belief in “Megan McAdam Photography” and my adventure into the world of a small business owner.
Christmas is a truly magical time of the year and for any lucky ones who said yes and got engaged over the festive period - a HUGE congratulations to you! (I mainly said yes to more pudding!)
I have a busy 2019 planned and I can't wait to shoot the stunning weddings I've got booked in for the year! I will of course be shooting more family sessions too, "Easter Mini's", "Mother's Day Mini's", "Lavender Mini's" in the beautiful lavender fields, "Pumpkin Mini's", "Christmas Mini's" - you name it, I'll be there! With a handful of gigs, birthdays, business branding sessions and lots of other exciting things scheduled in, 2019 is set to be my busiest year yet - and I'm ready for it, bring it on as they say!
There's also lots going on behind the scenes for me too, I'll be moving in with Adam (my other half of 9 years) in mid January! We're still going to be based in the South of the U.K. but are moving West, from our families that are based in the East. I can't wait for this new adventure and to be living with my best friend.
Please get in touch if you're thinking of booking or fancy a chat about anything photography related. As always 2019 will be filled with tweaks and improvements as my business continues to evolve and I can't wait to share it all with you, every step of the way.
Wishing you all a VERY Happy New Year.
Cheers to 2019 and everything that’s in store!
Here's a few of my favourite moments from the last 12 months…
